About me

I’m Gabz and I am a graphic designer based in London. After I graduated from Leeds University with a Fine Art degree I went on to study graphic design, combining illustration, composition, and storytelling in my work. The idea for People into Prints began one christmas when I created a personalised illustration for my family. Seeing how much they loved the piece inspired me to create more and as word spread, the commissions quickly followed, reaching over 50 in just a few months.

Influenced by traditional screen printing and pop art, my illustrations focus on bold, considered colour and simplified forms. I intentionally remove facial features, keeping only the defining details such as sunglasses or facial hair. By stripping these elements back, identity is revealed through posture, clothing, and silhouette. It is fascinating that even without the facial features, the subject still remains recognisable.

I love the process of creating each print, whether it’s reimagining a photograph from my travels or illustrating some of my favourite musicians. With endless reference images and variations, every piece is completely unique and that creative freedom keeps me passionate about my work.
